printmaking project
Printmaking Research
Animal in landscape with texture, line, space and shape.
What to do today:
1. Research the web and find images of animals, insects, aquatic animals, reptiles, or other animals that have texture.
2. Choose 2 DIFFERENT animals that are your favorite. Save at LEAST 4 images per animal to your HOME DIRECTORY OR YOUR PHONE LIBRARY.
3. Choose 2 different landscape backgrounds for EACH OF your animal choices. You can have your animal in a natural environment or something different. You must then save at LEAST 2 images of backgrounds per animal. That means you should have 4 images of backgrounds.
4. The idea is that you have good references and that you are not copying from a photograph from the internet. You are using a combination of the animal and the landscape to create a new ORIGINAL drawing.
What you should have saved in home directory OR IN PHONE LIBRARY:
1. 8 animal images – 2 per animal
2. 4 background/landscape images – 2 per animal choice.
